During the Public Forum portion of the September 16 District 157-C Board of Education meeting, Illinois Association of School Business Officials presented a check to the district’s Education Foundation in the amount of $1,000 in recognition of Assistant Superintendent for Finance & Operations Curt Saindon’s service to IASBO over the past three years on its Board of Directors.
IASBO President Hillarie Siena, Executive Director Michael Jacoby and Immediate Past President Mark Staehlin presented the check to 157-C Education Foundation President Cathy Flaherty and Treasurer Kami Genet.
Mr. Jacoby stated, “Serving on our statewide Board shows a commitment to IASBO and the State. Curt contributed greatly.” Mr. Staehlin stated, "Curt’s interest in legal research has helped our members. He was always willing to share and decode legislation coming from Springfield which was very beneficial.”
