The dates for Hickory Creek Middle School girls softball tryouts have been changed. Tryouts will now be held on July 31 for seventh grade only, August 1 for eighth grade only and August 2 and August 5 for both seventh and eighth grade students. All tryouts will be held from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Hickory Creek Middle School, 22150 116th Avenue. All participants are invited to the first two days with a potential first set of cut downs being made after tryouts on August 2nd. A final cut down for both teams will be made on August 5th.
All softball participants must attend at least one day of tryouts to be considered for the team. Participants should dress for tryouts and bring their softball equipment each day. Water will be provided but participants should bring an extra drink with them. A physical exam taken after August 7, 2012 must be on file with the school prior to tryouts. Those athletes making the team will need an updated physical exam that goes through October 6, 2013.
A parent/guardian permission form must be completed and signed before the first day of tryouts. A permission slip was given out in with the information packet and additional forms are available in the Hickory Creek Middle School forms tab at the District 157-C website, www.fsd157c.org.
