The Foundation is comprised of a group of volunteers who help obtain funds to be granted to the teachers to enhance education.  Grant money is provided through funds received from the Foundation’s annual fundraising auction, corporate sponsors, private donations and other fundraisers.  The Foundation’s recent coin drive raised $7,024.55 and its current fund-raising event is a “Cash for the Holidays” raffle which began on December 5.  See the Foundation website for more information, www.ef157c.org.

The Foundation expressed special thanks to its corporate sponsors, and the many local area businesses and families that continually support its efforts on behalf of the students.  The Foundation Board asks community members to save the date for its 19th annual fundraising auction on Friday, April 4th at Prestwick Country Club in Frankfort. More information about the fundraising auction will be forthcoming. Additional information about the Education Foundation is with the District Administrative Offices at (815) 469-5922 and on the Foundation’s website.
