The Frankfort School District 157-C Education Foundation will host its eighteenth annual fundraising auction on Friday, April 19, 7:00 PM, at CD & ME, 23320 S. LaGrange Road in Frankfort. All proceeds will directly benefit the children of District 157-C through teacher-written grants for projects and materials in the areas of art, literacy, technology, math, music, physical education, science, social studies and character-building programs.
Please save the April 19th date! This year’s event will be very informal, simply a casual evening out to support the schools. The fundraiser will feature delicious food and music, raffles, photo booth fun, a cash bar and the opportunity to bid on live and silent auction items donated by local area businesses and community members. Some items include Disney tickets, restaurant gift cards, spa days and sports memorabilia. Reservations may be made through the Foundation’s website www.ef157c.org.
Established in 1995, the Foundation has a tradition of funding positive growth for the students. Last fall the Foundation awarded $49,978 in grants to the schools.
