Chelsea third grade chorus performs The Jungle Book musical

Chelsea Intermediate School students in the third grade chorus recently showed off their talents in the junior production of “The Jungle Book” musical.  The show was a big success was also of benefit to the Frankfort Township Food Pantry through its food drive for admission to the musical.

Students with lead parts included Sean Dore as Mowgli, Leyla Eames as Bagheera, Molly Diehl as Baloo, Gabriella Velazquez as Shere Kahn and Shane Crean as Colonel Hathi.  The musical was based on the novel “The Jungle Book” by Rudyard Kipling and was directed by Chelsea third grade teacher Tracey Lazzo and music instructor Shannon Diehl.
