Summit Hill Junior High holds annual Veterans Day Program

Military members honored

The Summit Hill Junior High Symphonic Band presented their fifth annual Veterans
Day Program on Thursday, November 8, 2012.  Those in attendance were treated to a performance by the band.  During a rendition of “The Unknown Soldier” an overhead slide show projected pictures of family veterans.  Of the 59 band members in this group 49 have veterans in their families, which accounts for 177 family members who have served in the military.

Summit Hill Junior High is part of Summit Hill District 161 serving the communities of Frankfort, Mokena, and Tinley Park.
