Hundreds of people were in attendance at the 2012 Frankfort Bluegrass Festival over the July 14-15 weekend at to see more than a dozen bluegrass bands perform, despite some scattered showers on the first day.
"I really like the music and nice setting they have here for the festival," said Park Forest resident Ken Sauvage.
There was entertainment for more than just the adults at the Bluegrass Festival, that also had a kid's tent about 100 feet away from the stage. At the kid's tent, children were able to get their face painted, play with hula-hoops, learn about instruments and watch a magic show on Sunday afternoon.
