Help make local disabled teen WIN a wheelchair assessable VAN! YOU helped and came together for Connor last year when he had NO wheelchair...Help US WIN a van....we need your votes!!
MAY is National Mobility Awareness month. They are giving away a van and they are very expensive. Our van is just under 15 yrs old and not real safe anymore and we drive Connor everywhere and to the city weekly for school. OUR community came together and gave from their heart for Connor last year and raised money for medical equipment and wheelchair expenses plus a new wheelchair! Someone even fixed our current van that had been sitting for a year and a half! BUT, this contest will allow us to safely transport Connor everywhere! He is a hero in our community and is loved! People can click on the link and vote every day (every 24 hrs) and first answer a question about ability awareness(for an extra vote), then vote! It takes 1 min a day! Contest runs until May 10th ,2013 Just a few days BEFORE Connors birthday!!! ALSO, I just want to add, Connor's disability has never stopped him in his life. He is always positive and we have been so blessed with our family, friends and community. For his birthday he said he wants to skydive....SKYDIVE. Last year he learned to DIVE in the ocean! We want to let Connor reach all his goals, and be limitless not limited to a wheelchair. We want to win this van to get him to his dreams, take him places to live out his goals and life. This kid was given a DNR letter at birth and said we should put him in a home....we did just that, we put in our home and loved him and cared for him like we would for any other child. Connor wants what any other teenager wants, a car, a girlfriend, friends......but his body makes a lot of that hard. I know I am going on and I could of just sent you the info, but I wanted to introduce Connor to you, and thank you for helping, Ann.....
