Author and photographer Anna Blessing will discuss her new book, Locally Grown: Portraits of Artisanal Farms from America's Heartland. Locally Grown tells the stories of the artisanal farms that provide fresh ingredients to Chicago's top restaurants. Featuring contributions from the farmers themselves, as well as nearly 70 recipes from their restaurateur partners, Locally Grown illuminates the passion, hard work, and skill that goes into producing locally grown food. Joining Ann will be urban farmer Morgan Kalberloh, and Chefs Chelsea and Art Jackson from Pleasant House Bakery.
