Frankfort's Winter on the Green Breaks the Ice For 2014

Frankfort's Winter on the Green kicked off Sunday.

From the Village of Frankfort:

The weather was perfect for an ice fest on Sunday as the Village of Frankfort opened its 2014 season of Winter on the Green.

Hundreds gathered to ride the trolley through the downtown district and view 27 professionally carved ice sculptures displayed at local businesses.

“The ice fest continues to be a favorite among the Winter on the Green activities," said Frankfort Mayor Jim Holland. "It provides another opportunity to showcase our downtown district and businesses through the artistry of ice sculpting.”
