CD & ME Partners with Lincoln-Way Foundation

By becoming a partner, the business extends its relationship with the high school community in fund-raising efforts.

CD & ME, the popular entertainment and party destination in Frankfort, is the newest partner of the Lincoln-Way High School District 210 Foundation.

Foundation Executive Director Linda Lopez announced the partnership with CD & ME owners owners Chuck JaBaay and Dean Vaundry on Monday, Nov. 18.

“Lincoln-Way high schools are a big part of this community,” Vaundry said. “We’ve always been strong advocates of the Lincoln-Way High School District. From a business perspective, we know that successful schools create a community environment that enhances family life and therefore strengthens local business opportunities. I’ve always considered our relationship with the Lincoln-Way schools to be a two-way relationship; we really get back as much as we give.”

CD & ME is a favorite spot for wedding ceremonies, banquets, fundraisers, corporate functions and class reunions, and it's been a favorite site for many Lincoln-Way gatherings.

Steve Hogan, a foundation board director and chairman of the Lincoln-Way High School Alumni Association, attests to the customer-focused philosophy of the CD & ME staff.

“Many Lincoln-Way reunion committees, our Class of 1980 included, have experienced the professionalism and support of the CD & ME staff. Planning a reunion is not an easy task. I know from experience that reunion planning committees are in good hands when they host their event at CD & ME.”

CD & ME also offers a summer concert series on Thursday nights, and during the winter months, they offer an opportunity to gather for the Friday Night Comedy & Concert Series. Tickets are on sale now for comedian J.J. Walker, who will be performing on Friday, Jan. 10.
