Frankfort's Wine Walk Invites Tasters to Benefit LWSRA Scholarship Fund
The Frankfort Historic Business Association is hosting a Wine Walk and tasting to raise funds for the Lincolnway Special Recreation Association's scholarship fund.
How about a little wine tasting to raise funds to boost scholarship funds for the Lincolnway Special Recreation Association?
Board members for the Frankfort Historic Business Association have come up with a clever way to raise funds for the LWSRA scholarship fund. They've organized the 2nd Annual Wine Walk and and invited the public for a bit of "wined-ing" through downtown Frankfort.
"The walk includes wine and ale tastings, appetizers, dessert bites and live music," scattered throughout the businesses in the downtown district, said FHBA spokesperson Rachel Gilmore.
The event is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Sept. 29. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at check in. Tickets are available online at Wined-ing Through Historic Downtown Frankfort and at participating merchants located throughout the downtown district.
