Community Corner

The Cancer Support Center: Book Warriors (Book Club)

This group meets on the first Sunday of each month: March 2, April 6 and May 4.
There is nothing like a good book to bring people together to talk, laugh and share. For this quarter, we will read "The Dog Lived (and So Will I)," by Teresa Rhyne. This tale is a #1 bestseller about a woman who takes care of her dog's cancer diagnosis, only to have her own cancer diagnosis months later- a funny and poignant story of love. Limited copies of the book have been generously provided by Sourcebooks- sign up early for a free copy!

The Cancer Support Center gives strength, guidance and support to anyone living with a cancer diagnosis, as well as to their loved ones. We do this as a community-based,volunteer-driven, donor-supported organization. Our programs, resources and services are always delivered by professional therapists, counselors, nutritionists, and experts. And are provided in a warm, welcoming and nurturing setting at no cost to participants.

Because you’re living with cancer, we‘re here for you.
