Let's Talk About It: Muslim Journeys, Pathways of Faith

Thursday, May 8 @ 7PM - Our last discussion focuses on Sufi mystic and poet, Rumi. We will read A Rumi Anthology, edited and translated by Reynolds A. Nicholson. Leading our discussion is Dr. Scott Alexander, Associate Professor of Islam and Director of the Catholic-Muslim Studies Program at Catholic Theological Union, Chicago. His teaching and research interests include medieval Muslim sectarianism, the mystical traditions of Muslim spirituality, Quranic studies, the history and future of Muslim-Christian relations, and interfaith dialogue.
