Ghosts around the Green

On
Saturday, October 26, from 12-3 p.m. the Frankfort Historic Business
Association will host Ghosts around the Green, its family Halloween
event. New this year, kids will be invited to find the hidden ghost
hanging in each participating merchant shop. Spot the ghost and get a
treat! Complimentary hay wagon rides, apple cider and popcorn will also
be available, thanks to the Frankfort Area Historical Society, Kernel
Sweetooth and Frankfort General Store. Check in on Breidert Green across
from Smokey Barque between 12 and 2 p.m. to pick up your merchant map
and be sure to wear your costumes!

In
addition, the FHBA is pleased to partner with the Frankfort Police
Department's E.F. Bucko costume parade and trunk-or-treating event,
which also take place on Saturday, October 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in
the Breidert Green parking lot at Oak and Kansas Streets. The parade
steps off at 11 a.m., followed by trunk-or-treating and then the FHBA
Ghosts around the Green event. It's an afternoon of non-stop family fun
and all free, so come on down...town!
