Evilena's Black Friday sale helps IL tornado victims

Evilena’s Red Dresser, a furniture and home décor consignment store will offer deep discounts on Black Friday, November 29, 2013, but with a twist. Selected items valued up to $200 will be on sale at the store located at 59 W. Bankview Drive in Frankfort for
only a dollar. Lamps, wall art, pictures, glassware, frames, baskets, linens, and even a vintage full-sized sofa will be priced at $1.

The twist is rather than pocket the profits, Evilena’s will donate 100% of proceeds from the dollar sale to the American Red Cross and designate all funds to help those affected by recent tornados in central Illinois. In addition to the monetary help, Evilena’s will hold a brief 15-minute prayer circle at 9:45 a.m. and all are welcome to participate.

“I can’t imagine what people go through when they lose their entire house,” Sabey said. “We wanted to help in a small way,” she added. “When items have been in our store past their consignment period, they become store merchandise. We’re selling those items for a dollar and giving all the money to the Red Cross knowing they will help our neighbors in central Illinois. And, of course, we wanted to pray, so we’re doing that too.” In addition to the Black Friday sale, Evilena’s is accepting monetary donations at their check out counter through the end of November.

Evilena’s will open on Black Friday (November 29, 2013) at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. FREE coffee will be available while supplies last. For more information, call 815-464-4426 or visit online at www.EvilenasRedDresser.com.
