FHBA Pre-Holiday Open House in Downtown Frankfort

There's no place like home, and the Frankfort Historic Business Association merchants hope you'll kick off your holiday shopping in downtown Frankfort at the Pre-Holiday Open House on Friday, November 16. Participating merchants will be open until 9 p.m., offering shoppers their usual warm hospitality, along with special sales and promotions.

 "I love all the seasons in downtown Frankfort, but this time of year is especially festive with all the lights and the music piped in throughout the downtown. It's like the downtown charm rubs off on everyone who shops down here. People are just happy to be out and about," said FHBA president and This & That Gifts owner Nancy Cartolano.

As a special thank you, shoppers will receive a raffle ticket with each purchase from a participating merchant that night. If they present the Pre-Holiday Open House ad that ran in local print papers, they will also receive a bonus raffle ticket. Tickets can be filled out and left at the store where the purchase was made. Tickets will be combined for a single drawing for an FHBA prize basket featuring gifts from member businesses, along with 2 tickets for the 2012 Cookie Walk and 2 tickets for the new Breakfast with St. Nicholas on Saturday, December 8, during the Christkindl/Cookie Walk weekend.

"We definitely know, as retailers and service providers, that our customers have many, many options competing for their dollars, and we so appreciate when they choose to shop locally owned and operated small businesses in town. That's why our Pre-Holiday Open House has a celebration feel to it. We want our customers to know how much we value them," Cartolano added.

To date, the following shops will be open until 9 p.m. and participating in the Pre-Holiday Open House: The Pickwick Society Tearoom, Frankfort General Store, Cottage Creations, Glory Bee, Bijoux Bridal, Smokey Barque, Chew on This Dog Barkery, Maddie Maks, Fringe Boutique, The Paper Spot, Star Visions Photography, Monkey Mind Art Studio and Gallery, Briosa Boutique, This & That Gifts, Sids Graphs, Down Home Guitars, Eclectic Attic, Fiancee Couture and White Street Market.
