LISLE, IL. – The Bulls/Sox Academy announced that it will be hosting a Chicago Bulls Ball Handling Camp at the Orland Park Sportsplex at 11351 West 159th Street in Orland Park.

The Bulls Ball Handling Camp is a four week session designed to teach players to handle the basketball with control and confidence.  Players learn ball handling and dribbling techniques such as cross-over, between the legs, behind the back and reverse pivot. This camp will equip every player with the tools he or she must have to shake a defender, create space, lead a fast break or go to the “hole.”

The Ball Handling camp is open to boys and girls, eight to fourteen years old. Sessions will run on Tuesdays starting March 5th through March 26th. The first session for eight to ten year olds will run from 5:00-6:15pm. The second session for eleven to fourteen year olds will run from 6:15-7:30pm. The cost is only $112 (for residents) and $140 (for non-residents) per participant and includes a camp t-shirt with four hours of training from professional Academy coaches.

The Bulls/Sox Academy opened in 2001 in Lisle, Illinois and runs extensive training programs for boys and girls from beginner to professional. There are additional Bulls/Sox Academy locations in Glen Ellyn, LaGrange and Schererville, IN. For more information or to register for a camp, go to www.BullsSoxAcademy.com or call 630-324-8221.
