The top two headlines in Frankfort Patch this week were on opposite spectrums of life. The first story spotlighted the efforts by Frankfort firefighters to raise money for charity and the second was a lockdown at Hilda Walker School.  

Frankfort Firefighters Working to Raise Funds for Burn Camp and More—Frankfort Firefighters have teamed up with Charity Studio to raise funds for Burn Camp, the Autism Society of America, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and more.

Police Pick Up Teen With Pellet Gun Near Hilda Walker School— The Tinley Park intermediate school was in lockdown as police apprehended a boy with a pellet gun Thursday afternoon. No was hurt, and police say the incident is being handled as a juvenile case.
