Quotable I: The Griffins' Nikki Jarrell on starting the season with a big victory. “It's a good start to the season and hopefully we have a good outcome overall."
Quotable II: Lincoln-Way East coach Katie Meader on getting ahead and being able to use her bench. "It was a great opportunity to get everyone in. You don't want someone's first game to be eight games down the road, so it was good to start like this and loosen up a bit and get ready for our next game."
Team Records: Lincoln-Way East is 1-0. Oak Lawn is 0-1.
What’s Next: Lincoln-Way East hosts Argo on March 25. Oak Lawn will battle Stagg on Saturday.
