Around the World in 4 Days!

MondayThursday, July 22 – 25 from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm at the Founders Community Center come join us for a trip of a lifetime! Each day we will explore two different countries by making a craft, playing games, enjoying activities and snacks. Some of our destinations include Australia, Brazil, Italy, China, Germany and Japan.  Grab your passport you don’t want to miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime!

Robotics Super Camp  NEW!

Monday – Friday, July 22 – 26 from 2:30 – 4:00 pm at the Founders Community Center build robots and use them as controllers for your video animation projects! You and your partner will use LEGO® WeDo Robotics kits to build controllers for animation games that you design (think Wii).  Then switch gears and learn about Lego Mindstorms® and build a robot craft that you program and control.  Conclude the class by navigating your way through a special challenge course using your robot craft.  This is a great way to learn about robotics and have fun at the same time!

Alvin & the Chipmunks, “The Squeakquel”  NEW!

Thursday, July 25 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Founders Community Center all Chipmunk fans have the chance to play their guitars with all of the Chipmunks and Chipettes. ALVIN!!!  Where are you?  The big night has finally arrived. Don’t have your own guitar? Don’t worry! You’ll be able to decorate your own guitar before the audition. All great performers will be rewarded with cheese balls.  So, come dressed in your Chipmunk or Chipette attire/ accessories and be ready to dance and sing the night away.  Age: 4 – 7  Fee: $19/NR $24

 

Puppy Dog Picnic   NEW!

Thursday, August 1 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Founders Community Center bring your favorite dog “stuffy” to enjoy a picnic with. Of course we will be eating hot dogs at this picnic, along with chips and a drink. For entertainment, you and your stuffy will learn basic commands like, sit, stay, roll over, and give paw. Scooby Snacks will be given as a reward. Other dog related activities will be included. If you like dogs and like to pretend, come on over for a doggone good time! Age: 3 – 7  Fee: $19/NR $24
