CRAFTS AROUND THE WORLD
Monday, September 16 – October 21 from 5:30-6:30 pm at the Founders Community Center grab your passport as we travel around the world! Each week we will visit a different country, such as Italy, Germany, and Japan and make a craft based on the culture of the country we visited. This is one trip you won’t want to miss! LEGO FUN!
Monday, September 16 – October 28 (No Class October 14), from 5:30 – 6:30 pm at the Founders Community Center join us for a week full of Lego games and activities. Enjoy some traditional games with a Lego twist. Have fun with your favorite Minifigures as well as build, build, build! Age: 5 – 11 Fee: $45/ NR $50
AMAZING SCIENCE!
Tuesday, September 17 – October 1 from 4:30 - 5:30 pm at the Founders Community Center have a fun filled experience with a science twist! Each day we will create our own experiments using ordinary ingredients. From crystals, to slime, to volcanoes! Please dress in old clothes. Age: 5 – 10 Fee: $39/ NR $44
ALL BY MYSELF
Tuesday &/OR Friday, September 17 – October 25 from 10:30 – 11:15 am at the Founders Community Center this class is to help the child practice separation from their parent/caregivers while engaging them in one of their first classroom experiences. Socializing, learning to share, playing games and listening to stories will be the focus of this class. Fun activities will help develop independence. A great jump start on preschool preparation. Age: 2 – 3 Fee: $45 /NR $50 (1x/week), $80/ NR $85 (2x/week)
TANGLED UP IN FUN
Friday, September 20 from 5:45 - 7:45 pm at the Founders Community Center spend some time out with your friends and watch the movie “Tangled”. All the girls will get their hair braided just like Rapunzel did in the movie. The fun doesn’t stop there! Get your crafty fingers out to create your own floating light picture. A light snack will be served after being tangled up in all this fun! Ages: 3-1/2 - 9 years Fee: $19/NR $24
FRANKFORT FOOTLIGHTS DANCE
From the graceful movements of Ballet…to the quick beat of Hip/Hop Jazz…to the synchronized sounds of tapping toes…the Frankfort Park District has it all! Build self-confidence and abilities in ballet, tap, hip/hop and jazz in age appropriate classes. Classes are taught for ages 2 ½ through 5th grade. For Residents ½ hour classes are $65 & 45 minute classes are $85.

Begin planting now for Spring and explore adding color to your landscaping. This is a clear and easy seminar for the beginner landscaper. This class will discuss adding color and interest to your yard. Please bring photos of areas you’d like to add color to your yard, in order to aid in creating ideas.

DANCE THE SALSA!
Tuesday, September 17 – October 22 from 8:00 – 9:00 pm at the Founders Community Center join us as we learn the hottest dance craze…the Salsa! You will have fun learning the basic salsa steps of how to lead and follow, dips, spins and other exciting moves in this beginner class. You will need to register with a partner. SENIOR SINGING CIRCLE
Wednesday, September 18 – October 23 from 9:30 – 10:30 am at the Founders Community Center join this community circle where each voice has a unique vibration to express, through spontaneity and creativity. We will learn simple sounding exercises, sing songs from various countries, and even co-create our own songs! No previous experience in singing needed. Ages: 65 & older Fee: $89/NR $94

POWER SURGE TO A BETTER BODY
Monday &/OR Wednesday, September 16 – October 23 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm at Lincoln-Way East High School you’ve got to move it to lose it! Charge up your metabolism and keep burning those calories. The more muscle you build, the more fat you will burn. This class is modified for all levels to challenge your muscles leaving you feeling stronger and lowering your risk for heart disease through various cardio moves. Class will finish up with sculpting the abdominal muscles and stretching to give you the flexibility to move your joints through a full range of motion to relax and lengthen. Give yourself that one hour to become leaner, stronger, and healthier and add years on to your life. Bring your own mat, set of weights, jump rope, towel and water to class.
