PARENT-TOT SPORTS MANIA
Friday, October 4-November 1from 10:45-11:30 am at the Founders Community Center Moms or Dads, spend some quality time with your Little One in this class that introduces your child to the Wonderful World of Sports. Your child will be able to shoot some hoops, score a soccer goal, hit a ball off the tee, or just run around the gym to burn off some steam. Parachute games will also be introduced!! Toddler sports equipment will be used and parents will participate with their youngster. Age: 2-4 years with parent Fee: $39/NR $44
Adult Athletics:
Men’s Fall 12” Softball League
Wednesday, September 11 - October 30 (includes tournament), Games start at 6:30pm at Commissioners Park enjoy this Recreational Men’s Softball League. The league will consist of eight teams playing a seven game schedule with a single elimination tournament for the top 4 teams at the end of the season. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top team in the league and tournament. A non-refundable $225 deposit is due at signup to hold your spot in the league. The balance is due on Friday, August 30th to ensure placement into the league. Team packets, rules and softballs will be available on Friday, September 6th for pickup at the Founders Center, 140 Oak Street. Age: 18 & older Fee: $500/NR $550 (includes a $25 forfeit fee)
ADULT GOLF LESSONS
Tuesday, September 17 - October 8 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at White Mountain Golf Club, 9901 West 179th St, Tinley Park Golf Lessons will be taught by Dennis Piotrowski, PGA Golf Professional and his staff. All students receive instruction in a group format, including proper grip, stance, full swing, pitching, putting and rules of the game. All students will receive a free pass for 9 holes of golf at White Mountain Golf Course . A $5.00 range ball fee will be payable to the instructor at each class. Students are to bring a 7-iron to the first class. Age: 16 & older Fee: $69/NR $74
ADULT TENNIS LESSONS
Monday, September 16 - October 14 from 7:00-8:00 pm at Main Park Tennis Courts adult classes will consist of South Suburban Tennis Academy instruction and drills for the first 30 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of guided singles and doubles play with the instructor playing and discussing strategy and tactics. On court video analysis of participants strokes, volley and serves will be included. Age: 16 & older Fee: $55/NR $60
5 ON 5 BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Thursday, September 26-November 21 at Lincoln Way East High School Games will consist of (2) twenty minute halves (running clock). League fee includes gym usage, referee fee and Prize Money! Team registrations only, no individual sign ups. Information packet and rules available at time of sign-up. Rosters are limited to 10 players per team.
