Scarecrow Building Contest

Enter our second Scarecrow Building Contest and help decorate the Founders Community Center for Halloween.  The cross sticks will be provided.  All entries are due by October 10.  Voting will run from October 10 – 30.  Voting will take place at the Founders Community Center office and Facebook.com.  We are encouraging families and friends to take this building challenge and let their creative skills create some eye catching entries.

Halloween Haunting

Friday, October 18      6:00 – 9:00 pm

Founders Community Center, 140 Oak Street

Wristbands are $10* at the door, and include: Unlimited access to the haunted house; inflatables; fun fair games; hay ride; story time; 1 kid craft; 1 small pumpkin from the patch for the first 150 kids and 1 face painting.

Howl-A-Woof

Trick or Treat!!!  Bring your dog all dressed up for this costume competition, bone yard hunt and trick or treating event.  Dogs will have the opportunity to “Trick or Treat” around the Bark Park so remember to bring your bags to collect all their goodies.  Dogs will also have the opportunity to be judged on – Best Overall, Funniest and Scariest costumes in the costume contest.  Families and all friendly dogs are welcome at this free, on-leash event.  An adult should accompany dog-owners under the age of 12.  While you are enjoying this event, please remember to sign up for the Bark Park.

20th Annual Holiday Craft & Vendor Show

Saturday, November 9                                               

9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Founders Community Center 140 Oak Street

A diverse selection of crafters and vendors, including Tastefully Simple, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Emily’s Candles & Bath, Katie’s Clips, Origami Owl, Thirty One, Avon, Holiday Decorations, Scentsy Wickless Candles, Premier Design Jewelry, Floral, Clothing and much more!!!  Remember to bring the kids at 11:00 am for our Hunt for the Falling Leaves event.  The hunt is for kids, ages 1-8 years old and will be held on the west side of the Founders Community Center rain or shine.
