Monday, December 30 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Founders Community Center in this one day extended session, budding engineers will choose and build their own projects while learning about simple machines by using Lego® Educational kits! COMPUTER EXPLORERS will discuss concepts of pulleys, levers, wheels, and gears while students will bring their projects to life using battery operated motors. Participants will explore, investigate, and solve problems in a fun group environment. 2 children per LEGO® kit. Ages: 8 - 12 years Fee: $30/NR $30

YOUNG REMBRANDTS DRAWING WORKSHOP NEW!
Thursday and Friday, January 2 – 3 from 9:00 – 11:30 am at the Founders Community Center come draw with Young Rembrandts over winter break! During this exciting and rewarding two-day drawing workshop, budding artists ages 6 through 12 will explore an incredibly fun subject matter all ages can all relate to – BIRDS. Artists will use pencils, thin and broad-tipped markers, Sharpies™ and color pencils. By the end of Day 2, we will have completed a wonderfully creative collection of bird drawings that may include a flamingo, an eagle, a toucan, a dove, a wintery birdhouse and more. Join us for a medley of birds as we use our imaginations and take flight as we master our drawing and coloring skills using an award-winning method that Young Rembrandts is proud to share with your budding artist!
