Youth Camps:
“Me Two” Camp

This camp, Monday-Friday, 9:30 -11:30 am at the Puent Building, continues the week of June 24-28 with Let’s Go to the Zoo. Calling all Terrible Twos! Come join the fun this summer at your very own camp just for two year olds. We will create age appropriate crafts, finger paint, have water play, sing songs, read books, and much more. Note: Children do not have to be potty trained. Age: 2 years Fee: $59/NR $64

Tiny Tot Summer Camp
This summer camp, Monday-Friday, 9:30 am - 12:00 pm at the Puent Building, continues the week of June 24th with sessions continuing weekly until the last week in July. Come join us for this fun filled camp that’s just enough excitement for your preschool aged child. Each session has its own special theme like Fourth of July or Creepy Crawlers. Your child will enjoy crafts, music, stories, and outdoor water play all related to each theme. You’re welcome to sign up for more than one session. Note: Children must be potty trained and able to separate from parents. Ages: 3 – 4 Fee: $69/NR $74
Fun in the Sun Mini Camp
This two-week, Monday- Friday camp, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Puent Building, begins the week July 1-12 (No Camp July 4). Campers will love this adventure filled with trail walks, camp songs, theme days, games, and playing in the park. We will also make crafts, create our own great snacks, and enjoy a day of water fun with sprinklers and water games. Each session will include a day at Fort Frankfort (Commissioners Park) with free admission to the Splash Park. Campers will go home with wonderful memories. Ages: 5 – 8 Fee: $135/NR $140
Youth Programs:
Computertots - Animals and Dinosaurs
Monday – Friday, June 24 – 28 from 1:15 – 2:00 pm at the Founders Community Center in this fun and educational class, children will learn about animals and dinosaurs using a combination of computer software and crafts. Each day children will work in small interactive groups to explore exciting activities using a computer and two different software programs. As they improve their computer skills, children will learn about animals and dinosaurs in a fun way that encourages reading and math readiness. They’ll use their creativity and imagination during the last few minutes of each class to create animal puppets, special projects and creature books which they will take home. This national program was developed by educators to engage inquisitive minds and has been featured on CNN and in Parents Magazine.

Martial Arts Programs:
Karate Kids
Tuesday, June 25 – July 30 at the Founders Community Center this class introduces young children to the martial arts. Participants will learn and develop basic karate skills, techniques and principles. Through a variety of fun activities, children will improve motor skills, physical fitness, and gain confidence.

Karate
Tuesday, June 25 – July 30 at the Founders Community Center students learn basic and advanced traditional karate skills – katas, sparing, and self-defense. Individuals and families participate in this class. This is a great opportunity to do something with your child(ren)! In the Beginner Level, you may earn a White, Yellow, and Green Belt. In the Advanced Level, you may earn a Blue, Purple, Brown, and Black Belt.

Adult Programs:
Drought Tolerant Plants
Wednesday, June 26 from 7:00-8:00 pm at the Founders Community Center with the warm, hot summers and the cost of water rising, these plants will tolerate dry conditions with little or no watering, once established. With careful selection, planning and execution, drought-tolerant landscapes can be as pleasing as those needing heavy irrigation.
