Frankfort Park District - Summer Youth Camps

“Me Two” Camp

This camp, Monday-Friday, 9:30 -11:30 am at the Puent Building, continues the week of June 24-28 with Let’s Go to the Zoo.  Calling all Terrible Twos!  Come join the fun this summer at your very own camp just for two year olds. We will create age appropriate crafts, finger paint, have water play, sing songs, read books, and much more. Note: Children do not have to be potty trained. Age: 2 years  Fee: $59/NR $64

Tiny Tot Summer Camp

This summer camp, Monday-Friday, 9:30 am - 12:00 pm at the Puent Building, continues the week of June 24th with sessions continuing weekly until the last week in July.  Come join us for this fun filled camp that’s just enough excitement for your preschool aged child. Each session has its own special theme like Fourth of July or Creepy Crawlers. Your child will enjoy crafts, music, stories, and outdoor water play all related to each theme.  You’re welcome to sign up for more than one session. Note: Children must be potty trained and able to separate from parents.  Ages: 3 – 4  Fee: $69/NR $74

Fun in the Sun Mini Camp

This two-week, Monday- Friday camp, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Puent Building, begins the week July 1-12 (No Camp July 4). Campers will love this adventure filled with trail walks, camp songs, theme days, games, and playing in the park.  We will also make crafts, create our own great snacks, and enjoy a day of water fun with sprinklers and water games. Each session will include a day at Fort Frankfort (Commissioners Park) with free admission to the Splash Park.  Campers will go home with wonderful memories. Ages: 5 – 8  Fee: $135/NR $140

Kids First - Flag Football Camp

Monday-Friday, June 24-28 at Grand Prairie School Field this camp will teach football skills and safety through fundamentals.  Touchdown!!  Are you ready for some Football??  There will be a punt-pass-kick contest and a championship flag football game.  Excellent coaches plan strategic, fun drills and games that will increase skills through proper fundamentals. Open to boys and girls.  Kids Love It!!

Chicago White Sox Camp

Monday – Friday, June 24-28, 8:30 - 11:30 am at Main Park Field every summer camp participant receives an Exclusive U.S Cellular Field Experience!! This opportunity of a lifetime for each camp participant, along with a guest, will include a parade on the field and a Q&A session with a White Sox personality, coach and a current White Sox player! Also, during camp each player will participate in a special skills competition. The Top 30 qualifiers in each age throughout the summer will compete in the finals on the U.S Cellular Field in September. In addition to excellent instruction, every camper will receive:  6 ticket vouchers to a White Sox game, White Sox Training Center hat and T-Shirt and an evaluation report with graduation certificate.

Chicago Bulls Summer Basketball Camp

This camp is a great way for any basketball player to improve his or her skills.  The Chicago Bulls Training Academy will focus on improving every aspect of a player’s game including ball handling, shooting, passing, individual offensive moves, defensive moves and rebounding.  The goal is to make each participant a better player by Friday.  Every Chicago Bulls summer camp participant receives an Exclusive United Center Experience!! Each camp participant, along with a guest, will be invited to the United Center for a Q&A session with a Bulls personality and a current and or former Bulls player!  Also, each camp participant will compete in the Bulls Skills Competition.  At the end of the summer, the top three contestants will compete in the finals on the floor of the United Center (date TBD).  In addition to the premier instruction, each camper will receive a Chicago Bulls duffel bag, Bulls indoor/outdoor basketball, t-shirt, evaluation report and graduation certificate.

Back by Popular Demand to Frankfort!  Challenger Sports runs this popular soccer camp, rated the #1 Soccer Camp in the U.S.  Learn basic soccer skills with knowledgeable, positive coaches.  Shin-guards, soccer ball, and a water bottle are required.  To house a coach, go to www.challengersports.com.  Registration includes a soccer ball and a t-shirt.
