World-Ranked Step Dancers and Fiery Fiddlers to Perform at Lincoln-Way

The Hunt Family, who performs folk rock, Celtic, bluegrass, Americana, inspirational and original music, is bringing their high-powered show to Lincoln-Way North High School on Saturday, March 10.

The Hunts, who have toured around the United States and internationally, perform folk rock, Celtic, bluegrass, Americana, inspirational, and original music, offering a unique blend of diversity to each show.

They will be in Frankfort on Saturday, March 10, to perform at Lincoln-Way North High School, 19900 S. Harlem Ave., at 2 p.m.

“The Hunt Family will amaze you with their high-class performance and capture your heart with their charm,” said Denise Adducci, performing arts coordinator for Lincoln-Way High School District 210.

“Their champion fiddling is mixed with a percussive blend of world-ranked step dancing, drums, djembes, ashikos, and cajons,” she added. “Acoustic and electric guitars accompany soaring piano melodies and beautiful vocal harmonies. This is true family entertainment for all ages.”

The family of nine has performed for Queen Elizabeth’s royal welcoming and made multiple appearances at the World Championships of Irish step dancing in Scotland and Ireland.

They are coming to Frankfort to perform in conjunction with Lincoln-Way High School District 210’s popular Spotlight Series, which brings professional, world-class artists to the area at reasonable prices.

Past performances have included American English, the Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats , The Von Trapp Children and Let’s Hang On!, America’s premier tribute show to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

The Hunt Family will take the stage at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, in the Performing Arts Center (Door #46) of Lincoln-Way North High School. The box will office open at 12:30 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for youth and senior citizens with general admission seating.
