Success After High School Transition Conference to be Held March 24 at JJC

The purpose of the Transition Conference is to ease the shift from student to adult, particularly as it relates to a career or vocation.

The 14th annual Success After High School Transition Conference will be held March 24 at Joliet Junior College (Main Campus) from 9 a.m. until noon.

The purpose of the Transition Conference is to ease the shift from student to adult, particularly as it relates to a career or vocation.

Exhibitors and guest speakers will address the full range of services available, including housing and vocational training for individuals with moderate to severe disabilities as well as college success and career planning for students who are continuing a formal education.

The knowledge the students and their families gain from this transition conference will help bridge the gap, resulting in success in adult life.

The Transition Conference will include exhibitor tables and numerous breakout sessions tailored to the individual needs of the guests.

The Transition Conference is planned and organized by the Will-Grundy Transition Planning Committee (TPC). The TPC is comprised educators of local high schools, Joliet Junior College, businesses, and service agencies.
