Student Artwork Featured at Frankfort Public Library

Visitors to the will find more than books and periodicals this month.

Through April 25, more than 50 pieces of artwork and jewelry by and high school students will be on display at the library, 21119 S. Pfeiffer Road, Frankfort.

Visitors will find a variety of drawings, paintings, graphic design work and jewelry by 51 students.

“We have a great variety of student artwork on display at the Frankfort Library during the month of April,” said Phil Labriola, the art department chair at Lincoln-Way East and Lincoln-Way North high schools. “I encourage the community to take time to visit the library and view the talents of some of our art students from Lincoln-Way East and North. The students have worked hard this year and their efforts are evident through the high quality of work that we are able to display.”

Among those displaying artwork at the library are: Madeline Rittgers, Tim Smith, Madison Squires, Becky Alexander, Rachel Murff, Brendan Sapato, Samantha Pointon, Raegan Campbell, Jenna Bullaro, Nick Stuglis, Michala Cox, Jake Marion, Ashley Miyagawa, Lee Lieser, Nick Garcini, Jeremy Bieser, Abbey Maloney, Stephanie Rydecki, Tracy Danet, Rachel Pavlik, Mike Crowley, Matt Grynevich, Jackie Kraut, Stephanie Falaschetti, Lauren Montague, Blake Strait, Dayna Grybas and Gabby Valencia from Lincoln-Way East.

From Lincoln-Way North are: Michelle Payer, Marina Barajas, Remi Gregory, Stephanie Anderson, Crystal Arellano, Sarah Pajeau, Lewis Cafaro, Angela Dizon, Maeryl Timola, Jake Ives, Shane Conlin, Caitlin Broderick, Brianna Richards, Ally Cubr, Kaitlyn Bicknell, Alyssa Sparacino, Michelle Lorenz, Briana Ost, Eric Knaperek, Michaelene Kapec and Nicole Vitro.
