Skippyjon Jones Coming to Lincoln-Way West

Lincoln-Way High School District 210 is teaming up with Theatreworks USA to bring Skippyjon Jones to the stage for a Children's Theatre Series performance on Jan. 29

Skippyjon Jones, a little kitten with big ears and even bigger dreams, is coming to on Jan. 29 to delight area children with his antics and imagination.

Theatreworks USA will bring the Siamese kitten from Judith Byron Schachner’s popular children’s picture book to life at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29 in the performing arts center at . Guests should enter through Door #49.

The 60-minute show is being presented in conjunction with District 210’s popular Children’s Theatre Series, which brings professional, world-class artists to the area at reasonable prices.

Past performances have included Madeline and the Bad Hat, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing, Max & Rub, Charlotte’s Web, Junie B. Jones and Curious George.

Theatreworks USA’s Skippyjon Jones  is a musical about a Siamese kitten that refuses to be an ordinary cat. Sometimes he pretends to be a bird, sometimes he pretends to be a llama, and sometimes he pretends to be a whale … anything BUT a Siamese cat.

Come see this enchanting musical about unleashing your powerful imagination and following your dreams.

Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door if still available. The box office will open at 2 p.m. the day of the performance.
