Lincoln-Way Preschool Registration Begins March 2

A total of 16 children, ages 3 to 5, will be selected to attend a morning session with Early Childhood Education students, under the supervision of a Family and Consumer Sciences' instructor.

Parents interested in enrolling their toddlers in the preschool program sponsored by the Family and Consumer Sciences (Home Economics) Early Childhood classes at and high schools may do so from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 2.

Registration will be held in room A108 at the North Campus and room 166 at the East Campus. Parents may attend either location regardless of their school preference.

To be eligible for the preschool program, children must be three years old by Sept. 1, 2012, toilet trained and reside within Lincoln-Way High School District 210.

Parents will be expected to complete a written application; no telephone applications will be accepted.

A total of 16 children, ages 3 to 5, will be selected to attend a morning session. Preschool will meet Wednesdays and Thursdays from October through January. The program continues Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from February through May.

Fees are $30 per month or $240 per year. A nonrefundable deposit of $60 will be required of those selected into the program and will be applied to the first two months of nursery school.

This program gives Early Childhood Education students an opportunity to work with children in a preschool environment under the full-time supervision of a Family and Consumer Sciences' instructor.
