L-W North Athletic Boosters to Host Prom Fashion Show, Luncheon

See what the latest trends are for prom at a fashion show Feb. 18 at Lincoln-Way North High School

Want to see the latest in prom fashions? 

The Athletic Boosters have arranged for a number of local dress boutiques, florists and tuxedo establishments to share the latest trends during a fashion show Saturday, Feb. 18, in the school auditorium at 19900 S. Harlem Ave., Frankfort.

There will be gowns, tuxedos, bouquets, boutonnieres and accessories on display from more than a dozen shops.

In addition, local dance groups will perform at the show.

Tickets are $15 in advance for adults and $5 for students.  Those who purchase them at the door will pay $20 and $10, respectively.

Students will also be able to purchase show only tickets during their lunch hour the week of Feb. 13.

The fashion show will begin at 1 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit athletic programs at Lincoln-Way North.

Those interested in attending the pre-show luncheon catered by Café Milan should contact Dee Hill at dee6751@sbcglobal.net or call 815-592-6751. Tickets to the 11:30 a.m. luncheon, held in the school’s cafeteria, are $25 each. Or, a table of 10 can be purchased for a discounted price of $200 per table.

The deadline to order tickets to the pre-show luncheon is Friday, Feb. 10.  Ticket order forms can be found on the group’s website: www.lwnab.org

Reserved seating will be provided at the show for all lunch attendees.
