L-W East poms to host dance clinic
Children in grades K-6 are invited to participate in a dance clinic with the Lincoln-Way East High School Varsity and Sophomore Poms on Tuesday, Aug. 14.
Children in grades K-6 are invited to participate in a dance clinic with the Lincoln-Way East High School Varsity and Sophomore Poms on Tuesday, Aug. 14.
Participants will play games and learn a short dance routine that they will perform with the Lincoln-Way East Varsity and Sophomore Poms at the school’s Ron Tomczak Memorial Black and Blue Scrimmage on Friday, Aug. 17. The scrimmage begins at 6 p.m.

Registration forms are available in the main office of Lincoln-Way East High School, 201 Colorado Ave., Frankfort. Parents are asked to register by Aug. 9.

There is a $30 clinic fee to participate and includes a two-hour clinic, games and a Lincoln-Way East Poms T-shirt that students will wear at the performance on Aug. 17.
Parents will be able to register their children the day of the clinic, but participants may not receive a T-shirt.

The dance clinic will take place from 3-5 p.m. Aug. 14 in the Lincoln-Way East High School cafeteria. Participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes early and to wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes.
