Artwork by L-W East, L-W North students on display at Frankfort Public Library

Visitors will see a variety of paintings, oil pastels, pencil drawings, chalk pastels, photographs and mixed media by 49 students through April 18.

   Nearly 60 pieces of artwork by Lincoln-Way High School District 210 students are currently on display at the Frankfort Public Library, 21119 S. Pfeiffer Road, Frankfort.

 

   Visitors will see a variety of paintings, oil pastels, pencil drawings, chalk pastels, photographs and mixed media by 49 students from Lincoln-Way East and Lincoln-Way North high schools.

   The artwork will be on display through April 18.

   “We have a wonderful display of artwork created by students at Lincoln-Way East and Lincoln-Way North,” said Phil Labriola, the art department chair at both schools. “These students have worked hard this year and it shows in the quality of their work. The Frankfort Library is a great way to showcase the amazing talents of our students for the public to see.”

 

   Among those displaying artwork at the library are: Justas Varpucanskis, Kelsey Kasbaum, Raegan Campbell, Susan Stelmar, Rachel Murff, Julie Ruvoli, Rachel Pavlik, Madeline Rittgers, Alexandra Spiroff, Lionel Johnson, Nicole Rainford, Dayna Grybas, Kate Garcia, Jeff O’Keeffe, Hannah Eggert, Emma Eaton, Alyssa Ruvoli, Julie Ruvoli, Elliot Adams, Brad De Runtz, Mikayla Jaber, Jeremy Bieser, Haley Ostrowski, Delaney Triezenberg, Samantha Pointon and Brett Arias from Lincoln-Way East.
