The IRS has ruled that couples legally married in a state that recognizes marriage can file income tax in the more favorable "Married Filing Jointly" status even if you are not currently living in that state!!!! HUGE news!. Liberty Tax is offering amended returns for gay/lesbian couples (can go back 3 years) for $100.00. Call 708-995-1045 for an appointment
