If you want someone else to do the cooking (and cleaning up) this Thanksgiving, you'll be happy to know you have options Thursday in Frankfort, New Lenox and Mokena that offer traditional turkey meals and a few surprises.

A traditional turkey dinner will be on the menu, but the German-themed restaurant also will feature its regular dishes. The restaurant will be open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The usual hearty breakfast, brunch or lunch fare will be available from 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
will be open 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. Holiday shakes, including white chocolate, egg nog, and peppermint chocolate chip, will get you in the mood for Black Friday shopping.
In New Lenox, most places are closed. But there are some options for breakfast, or you could catch a movie.
: If you want the traditional Thanksgiving food, there's one spot available. Peace Lutheran opens its doors to the community for this long-running tradition of a midday meal. Church services are at 11:30 a.m. and the dinner will follow. Call 815-485-5327 for details.
: Want to catch a movie on Turkey Day? The New Lenox theater will have its regular hours and new movies Hugo and The Muppets to view.

In Mokena, most places are closed. But there are a couple options for an early meal or a drink after family gatherings.
