For eons, artisans have left their mark on the simplest of items, changing the simply ordinary into works of art. In downtown Frankfort, the 2nd annual Frankfort Historic Business Association (FHBA) invites the public to sit awhile and enjoy this year's project, Sit a Bit Chair Art.
Chair art is on display throughout the downtown district until Sept. 29. At that time, these whimsical pieces of furniture will be decking the sidewalks in front of numerous businesses until they're auctioned off at the Frankfort Historic Business Association Wine Walk and "chair-ity" auction.
Each chair has its own unique character and reflects the store's theme. The idea of the chair project is to invite conversation and customers to sit awhile in downtown Frankfort.
