Salon MVPs: Which Stylist Does Your 'Do the Best?

Nominate your hair stylist as a Patch Salon MVP, and he or she might be profiled.

People are particular when it comes to choosing a doctor. They do their research to find someone who knows what he or she is doing, is covered under their insurance and has a good bedside manner.

But that's nothing compared to what some people will do to find a good hair stylist that they trust. Sure, a doctor takes care of your health, but your stylist does something more important: He or she makes your hair look good.

At Patch, we want to spotlight those stylists who know how to do up a 'do and make their customers happy. That's why we want you to nominate your stylist for our Salon MVP. Tell us why you're loyal to him or her and what keeps you coming back in our comments section.

While you're at it, give a shout out to the salon your favorite stylist works at in our Patch Places business directory. Think of your recommendation as a public service, telling residents the best places in Frankfort to go.

Bella Rae has closed. In its place is Salon Malizia -- Julie Malizia is awesome. She has made much needed improvements to the salon. More important, she knows her stuff. Her application of color and her ability to give a good cut is much appreciated. And her prices are more than fair.

Amici Spa & Salon is a great place to be pampered. They offer services for hair, nails, facials, massages, waxing and all day spa packages. They have been in business for over 8 years. Most of the women who work there have 20+ years experience. They truly treat you like family when you go there. Stop by and take a look, you won't be disappointed!
