PHOTOS: Christkindl and Cookie Walk Weekend

Frankfort celebrated the holidays with two days of seasonal festivities in the village's historic downtown.

The Frankfort Historic Business Association hosted the 27th annual Christkindl celebration on Dec. 8 and 9.

Christkindl celebrates Frankfort's German heritage. St. Nicholas spent the weekend in the village, giving sweets to good children and switches to bad ones.

The weekend also included horse-drawn wagon rides, cookie decorating, holiday crafts, Santa's secret workshop and a pet blessing on Breidert Green, among other events.
