Mariano's Donates Thousands to Township Food Pantry

The upscale grocery store gave thousands in money and food to help feed community members in need.

Mariano’s Fresh Market, the newest member of the Frankfort business community, is giving back by donating thousands to the Frankfort Township Food Pantry, according to a Mariano’s representative.

The upscale grocer donated $2,500 to the pantry during the store’s grand opening party last week. Mariano’s contributed an additional $4,000 in food donations on March 12.

Store employees unloaded approximately 2,200 pounds of cereal, canned chicken and fruit cocktail on Tuesday at the township pantry. The donations will help feed needy families within Frankfort Township.
