Ed & Joe's Closes Mokena Location

In their e-mail newsletter, the Tinley Park-based pizza joint thanked customers for three great years.

Ed & Joe's is dead. Long live Ed & Joe's.

While the Mokena location of the locally owned pizza place has closed its doors, the Tinley Park location continues.

Ed & Joe's weekly newsletter on Friday read in part:

We will no longer be operating at our Mokena location. We want to thank all of our wonderful customers for 3 great years. We will honor any coupons or gift cards here at our Tinley Park store. Please continue to visit our Tinley Park location as we transition through this process.

Meanwhile, a sign at the shuttered Mokena site says the location is permanently closed.

Ed & Joe's management did not return messages from Patch on Friday. The Tinley location is closed Mondays.
