New Owners Remodel Choo Choo Johnny's

• Barbara Smith and Frank Passini are the new owners of , the family-oriented, train-themed pizza restaurant in the Walt's shopping center on LaGrange Road. The business partners and first-time restaurant owners took over Aug. 29 and currently are remodeling, as well as adding new trains and games, Smith said. They hope to have a grand reopening in the near future, she added. The previous owners haven't severed ties with Choo Choo Johnny's. They are now franchising the name and have a location in Naperville.
  
  
• Cottage Creations Gift Shop, 110 Kansas St., is now open for business. The downtown shop has hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
  
  
• Fajitas, a new Mexican restaurant in the Hickory Creek Marketplace shopping center, is planning to ope in the next five or six weeks, said Frankfort planning supervisor Zach Brown. The Village Board approved the restaurant at 19941-43 LaGrange Road in May, and the owner is completing its build-out, Brown added. Fajitas also has locations in Countryside and .
  
  
• is offering Costco members the chance to buy a 2012 Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe or Traverse at a "preferred price," which is the price Chevrolet gives to its supplier's employees. Costco also will give a $500 cash card to members who participate in the program.
