Chamber Showcase Offers Activities and Opportunities for the Entire Family

Frankfort residents are invited to learn, give back and have fun at the annual event.

The 29th annual Frankfort Chamber of Commerce Community Showcase is this Saturday at Lincoln-Way East High School.

“The goal of this event really is to support our local businesses,” said Karen Blake, executive director of the chamber.

Chamber representatives anticipate that approximately 3,000 people will attend this year’s free event. 90 chamber members, local businesses and nonprofit organizations have arranged to have booths at the showcase.

The event provides a chance for families to enjoy a day out together, but it is also a networking opportunity for professionals, according to Don Olivieri, who is co-chairman of the community showcase committee.

“This is the businesses’ opportunity to showcase their goods and services to the community,” he said.
