VIDEO: Festival Fills Breidert Green With the Sounds of Bluegrass
Watch and listen to some of the musical acts that took the stage at Frankfort's inaugural Bluegrass on the Green Festival.
Frankfort's Breidert Green is no stranger to musical events. But this past weekend marked the first time it played host to a wide array bluegrass acts.
The village's first-ever Bluegrass on the Green Festival drew crowds from across the Southland who came to listen to bands such as The Hillbenders, Special Consensus and The Henhouse Prowlers. Organized by Down Home Guitars, the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce, the Village of Frankfort and the Frankfort Park District, Bluegrass on the Green also featured activities for kids, as well as food and other vendors.
