Musical Acts Set for Frankfort Fall Festival

The Lincoln-Way East Jazz Band, Five Guys Named Mo and Kampfire Kowboys are some of the performers included this year.

This year's musical entertainment is set for the Frankfort Fall Festival, and it's a mix of jazz, country, rock and pop acts, according to a village Chamber of Commerce press release.

Performances will be split between two venues: the Breidert Green stage and the BETA Team entertainment tent. Fall Festival runs Sept. 2-5.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 3

11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Jhonny and Sallie Show (contemporary and traditional country

1-3 p.m.: Phylis Marconi (Americana rock)*

3-5 p.m.: The Ragtops, (music from the '50s and '60s)

* will run at 3 p.m., between acts.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 4

1 a.m.-1 p.m.: Robert Sampson (classic blues and jazz)

1-3 p.m.: No acts performing because of the parade.

3-5 p.m.: Scott Wesley (rock and pop)

MONDAY, SEPT. 5

10 a.m.-noon: Lincoln-Way East Jazz Band (jazz from the '30s to '50s)

Noon-2 p.m.: Kampfire Kowboys, (country)

2-4 p.m.: The Karen Hart Band (classic rock)

BETA Team Entertainment Tent

Where: Breidert Green parking lot, Kansas and Oak streets
How much: $5 after 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday**. $2 from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday through Monday. Children younger than 12 are free before 6 p.m. 

FRIDAY, SEPT. 2

7:30-11 p.m.: Five Guys Named Moe (classic rock)

SATURDAY, SEPT. 3

1-5 p.m.: NoJo (jazz and R&B)

7-11 p.m.: Midlife Crisis (music from the '60s to today)

SUNDAY, SEPT. 4

1-5 p.m.: Timing’s Everything (pop)

7-11 p.m.: Funhouse (classic rock from the '80s)

MONDAY, SEPT. 5

1-5 p.m.: Vintage Wood (acoustic rock)

* No one younger than 21 is allowed in the entertainment tent after 6 p.m.

Also, , either for two hours or for the entire weekend. The final volunteers meeting will be 7 p.m. Aug. 24 at the chamber offices, 123 Kansas St.
