"Radio Days" Coming to Lincoln-Way

Be a part of the studio audience and experience firsthand the excitement of a live radio broadcast in Radio Days, a musical production by Five By Design.

Lincoln-Way High School District 210 is proud to bring the nationally acclaimed vocal group to the area as part of its popular Senior Series.

“Whether displaying their lush trademark harmonies on Moonlight in Vermont or hilarious stage antics in Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Five By Design will have you dancing in your seat,” said Denise Adducci, performing arts coordinator for Lincoln-Way High School District 210.

“Five by Design combine their signature vocals with vintage fashions and a bit of theatrical panache,” she added.

The 75-minute musical theatre tribute to the golden age of radio will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, in the Lincoln-Way North Performing Arts Center at 19900 S.  Harlem Ave., Frankfort.

The Senior Series was introduced three years ago to give community members – especially citizens who no longer have children in the district – an opportunity to enjoy the facilities while partaking in a variety of world-class performing artists at extremely reasonable ticket prices.

Past performers have included the Glen Miller Orchestra, Guy Lombardo’s Royal Canadians with Al Pierson and Dave Bennett’s “Tribute to Benny Goodman.”

• A Couple of Blaguards, 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14. $10
• Mitch Seekins Sings the Great Tony Bennett, 11 a.m. Wednesday April 4. $12
