Volunteers Needed for Frankfort Earth Day Celebration April 12

Can you pitch in to help beautify your community?

Mayor Jim Holland is looking for some helping hands for Frankfort's Earth Day?Arbor Day festivities Saturday, April 12.

Residents are invited to volunteer in clean-up activities, or planting flowers or trees around the community.

"We have hundreds of people who volunteer on this day to go out and plant flower, plants trees — but mostly to go out and pick up garbage," Holland said at a recent village board meeting. "It is a great way to once again help your community to look its best."
