A Special Valentine's Message: 'I Couldn't Have Asked for a Better Partner in Life'

Last week, I asked Frankfort Patch readers to share their stories of how they knew the love of their life was "The One," and you shared your stories with me. I went through the entries and chose one lucky reader, who gets to deliver a special Valentine's Day message to that loved one.

And that lucky readers is ... Melissa Goodman.

Here's what she had to say about how she knew her fiance, Tim Sweders, was "The One":

What made me really realize that he was the one for me was when we first started dating. At the time, I was in between homes and waiting to move into an apartment. I had a short time where I needed to stay elsewhere until my new apartment was ready. Even though we were only dating for a few weeks, when he went out of his way to set up with his friends a place for me to stay at, I knew he was a keeper.

So what does she have to say to Tim on Valentine's Day? Read on:

Tim,

We have been through so much. Through good, through bad, through rough and through easy. One thing I can always count on is how you are always there for me. From the first day we met, there was a connection. And now, eight-and-a-half years later, we still have a love for each other that is indescribable.

You are a wonderful father to our son. You help me raise him to be the best that he will be. He and I both adore and love you. I couldn't have asked for a better partner in life. You are not only the love of my life, but you are my best friend. Here's to our first eight years together and to many more after.
