Whether you're a connoisseur or a newbie looking to expand your tastes, the Spring Wine Tasting event sponsored by the is a chance to sample 50 different wines provided by .
The tasting is from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 27, at , and participants much register before the event. Registration costs $12. And of course, only adults 21 and older are allowed to attend.
The deadline: Registration ends Monday, April 23, or when the event sells out. As of Friday, there were 15 openings left. Call the park district at 815-469-9400 for more information.
